insurance for these programs?
Allianz Travel Insurance plans are underwritten by BCS
Insurance Company (OH, Administrative Office: Oakwood Terrace, IL), rated
“A-“ (Excellent) by A.M. Best Co., under BCS Form No. 52.401 series.
Allianz Global Assistance and Allianz Travel Insurance are brands of AGA
Service Company. AGA Service Company is the licensed producer and
administrator of this plan and an affiliate of Jefferson Insurance
Company. The insured shall not receive any special benefit or advantage
because of the affiliation between AGA Service Company and Jefferson
Insurance Company.
PLEASE BE ADVISED: This optional coverage may duplicate coverage
already provided by your personal auto insurance policy, homeowner's
insurance policy, personal liability insurance policy or other source of
coverage. This insurance is not required in connection with the insured's
purchase of travel tickets. Plan may not be available in all
jurisdictions.

protection?
- Travel protection
is a combination of travel insurance and 24-hour emergency assistance
services designed to give you peace of mind when you travel. Whether you
are traveling in the U.S. or abroad, you can have peace of mind knowing
that you have travel protection through Allianz Global Assistance.
Q: Why do I need travel
protection?

You need travel
protection because it lets you travel with a strong sense of security.
Travel protection insures your financial investment should your trip be
cancelled or interrupted for a covered reason. Here are a few of the
benefits you'll enjoy:

or interrupted for a covered reason

Q:
What does travel
protection cover?
Trip
Cancellation/Interruption
Provides reimbursement for non-refundable trip payments and
deposits if a trip is canceled or interrupted for illness, death or other
specific unforeseen circumstances. Additionally, You may cancel or
interrupt your trip due to natural disasters or if there has been A
restriction by the United States government or the destination state or
local government authorities which has the effect of a total prohibition
on the hunting activity for which You have booked Your Trip. Such
restrictions include but are not limited to: a government closure of the
reserve, a ban on hunting, or the hunting activity being declared illegal.
Such restriction: a) must be verified by either an agency of the United
States or service based in the United States or an official agency of the
destination government (including but not limited to a consulate or
embassy); and b) must not be imposed at the time of booking or initial
deposit.
Baggage Loss / Damage
Provides reimbursement
for lost, stolen or damaged baggage
Baggage Delay
Provides reimbursement
for clothing, toiletries and other essential items if luggage is delayed
for at least 24 hours.
Travel Delay
Provides reimbursement
for meals and accommodations when a trip is unexpectedly delayed.
Trip Inconvenience
Will pay a one time fee
of $500 because of a serious injury occurring to you that causes you to be
medically unable to continue your activity.
Sports Equipment
Coverage
Provides coverage for
specialist sporting equipment due to loss or damage by a common carrier or
theft of equipment during the trip.
Sports Equipment Rental
Benefit
Provides reimbursement
of rental costs incurred if sporting equipment is stolen or is lost,
damaged or delayed by a common carrier for at least 12 hours.
Sports Traveler Benefit
In the event the trip is
cancelled or interrupted due to a covered reason, coverage is provided to
cover the costs of non-refundable sports related deposits and payments
that were arranged separately from the vacation for pre-paid hunting
licenses, including but not limited to tag fees, government fees, arms
fees, lottery fees, governors tags; lift tickets; green fees; equipment
rentals; and lessons.
Q: When is the best time
to purchase travel protection in order to be covered?

You can buy travel protection up until the day before you
leave on your trip. If you want
coverage for pre-existing conditions, and/or airline supplier default,
make sure you buy travel protection within 14 days of paying your
initial deposit for the trip (and for the pre-existing conditions
waiver, if your trip costs less than $50,000 per person).

24-hour hotline is staffed with multilingual specialists who can help
you with all types of situations from anywhere in the world, from
reporting lost baggage to assisting with emergency medical treatment.
They can also help you replace passports, refer you to legal assistance,
secure cash in case of emergency and guarantee payment to gain admission
into a hospital.
Q: Can I cancel my trip
for any reason and get all my money back?

No.
Trip
cancellation coverage refunds prepaid, nonrefundable payments if
you have to cancel your trip for one of the reasons covered by your
policy. Covered reasons include the following: sudden medical
emergencies,
financial default of a covered (airline) bad weather, terrorist
incidents, and jury duty. Changing your mind about taking a trip or
having certain business obligations are not covered. If you cancel your
trip for a covered reason, you must notify your travel supplier(s)
within 72 hours of the occurrence, otherwise the right to compensation
will lapse.
Q: Will I have to pay
any deductibles?

Pre-Existing Conditions Exclusion and Waiver
Q: What is a
pre-existing condition?
-
A pre-existing
condition is any injury or illness occurring 120 days prior to and including the
effective date of this insurance. If the condition is controlled
(that is, if you don't need to change your medication or treatment
during the 120-day period), it's not considered a pre-existing condition.
Q: If I have a
pre-existing condition, can I still purchase insurance?
1. You
must insure the full cost of all non-refundable trip arrangements within
fourteen days of your initial trip deposit
2. be
medically able to travel at the time of purchase of insurance
3. have
not filed a claim for trip cancellation due to a pre-existing illness
within 120 days of the effective date of this insurance
This waiver is available
for trips costing $50,000 or less per covered person
Q: What does Medically
Able mean?

Medically Able means
that, at the time of purchase of insurance, you had no illness or injury
(of which a prudent person would reasonably know or be aware) that would
prevent or substantially interfere with your ability to travel.
Q: Can I cancel my trip
if a terrorist act has occurred in the location where I will be traveling?
Q: My Traveling
Companion is hospitalized and must cancel their trip. Can I cancel mine
as well?

Yes, you may cancel
your trip because of any serious injury or unforeseen serious medical
condition occurring to you or a Traveling Companion, which is so
disabling as to cause a reasonable person to delay, cancel or interrupt
their trip. (traveling companion is defined as a person traveling with
you who must be listed on your trip application and who shares the same
accommodations as you)
Q: A government ban on
hunting has been placed on my Destination. Can I cancel my trip?
Q: If my firearm that I
will be using during the scheduled trip is delayed, will I be covered to
rent a replacement?

Yes, If Your sporting
equipment is damaged, lost or delayed by the Common Carrier for 12 hours
or more, or stolen, the program will reimburse You on one-time basis for
the reasonable costs of renting sporting equipment during Your Trip.
Q: The airline I was
traveling with lost my firearm. Do you cover any of the costs associated
with the purchase of a new firearm?

Yes. If Your
sporting equipment is lost by the Common Carrier, or damaged, or stolen,
We will pay up to the amount $1,500 provided You have taken all
reasonable measures to protect, save and recover Your property at all
times.
Q: My flight has been
delayed overnight due to bad weather. Will any accommodations be covered?
Q: My wife is pregnant
and I have already booked my safari. Can I cancel my trip?
Q: Can I cancel my trip
at any time for a covered reason?
Q: Recently, there was a
Russian Bear Hunt where hunters were at the Destination and the government
outlawed the bear hunt. What would be paid in that case?
1.
The pro-rated portion
of the pre-paid Trip missed;
2. The
additional cost resulting from a change in the per-person occupancy rate
for prepaid travel arrangements if a Traveling Companion’s Trip is
canceled or interrupted for a covered reason and Yours is not;
3. Reasonable,
additional travel costs for You to reach Your original destination if
You must depart after Your planned departure date due to a covered
reason;
4. Reasonable,
additional transportation expenses needed to reach Your return
destination and the unused portion of any non-refundable land, sea and
air arrangements that were paid as part of Your Trip; or
5. The cost of
non-refundable deposits and payments that were arranged separately from
the vacation for prepaid hunting licenses, including but not limited to
tag fees, government fees, arms fees, lottery fees, governors tags; lift
tickets; green fees; equipment rentals; and lessons; up to a maximum of
$750 per insured
Q: Two insureds are
traveling together. One insured is arrested and the Traveling Companion
remains. Can the Traveling Companion interrupt their trip and be covered?

No. Any unlawful acts
committed by You, Family Members, or Traveling Companions, whether they
are insured or not, are not a covered reason to cancel a Trip.
